We very often see UK card customers asking which credit cards can I balance transfer from Barclaycard to?
Over recent months we have seen many questions on this subject, including all of the following common questions:-
- Can I transfer balance from Barclaycard to HSBC credit cards?
- Make a balance transfer from Barclaycard to NatWest?
- Can you balance transfer from Barclaycard to the M&S balance transfer credit card?
- Can I transfer Barclaycard to Post Office balance transfer card?
As you may know, Barclaycard like all other UK credit card companies, do not allow balance transfers to be made from one credit card to another, when both cards are issued by the same company.
A number of the main UK credit card companies have issued other credit cards, using different brand names. This was very popular in past years, but is now less common today. As such, it is not always easy to find out who the actual credit card issuer is.
This information can very often buried in the small print of the balance transfer terms and conditions agreement, so is not always obvious. The Hilton credit card for example, although now no longer available to new customers, is still in use, and is issued by Barclaycard.

The numbers of 0% balance transfer credit cards available in the UK market has been reducing over the last couple of years. This is because of the coronavirus pandemic as well as a number of card companies withdrawing from the UK market. In addition, there has also been some takeovers within the sector. As a result, this consolidation has further reduced the number of cards.
Barclaycard are however, still one of the biggest credit card companies operating in the UK. As a result many more customers have questions about the cards they can transfer to. We also see a lot of questions about Barclaycard offers for existing customers.
The Barclaycard 0% deals and offers were once the longest within the UK market. However the company’s more recent 0% introductory deals have not been as competitive.
