Aqua Balance Transfer

Can you make an Aqua balance transfer? How do I make an Aqua card balance transfer? Can you make a balance transfer from Aqua card?

The above are all common question that we have recently seen customers looking for answers on the subject of an Aqua balance transfer.

The Aqua credit card is a credit builder credit card which is often used by customers who do not have any credit history, or who have had credit problems in the past. These credit problems may include missed or late payments and also County Court Judgements.

When a customer uses an Aqua credit card responsibly, then it is possible to use the Aqua card to build a stronger credit rating over time. Customers can do this by staying within their given credit limit and making the monthly payments on time, every month.

Aqua Balance Transfer

Aqua Balance TransferCan you make an Aqua balance transfer?

Currently, you can make a balance transfer from another credit card to Aqua. You can also make a balance transfer from Aqua to another credit card.

As a credit builder credit card, the Aqua credit card has a higher than average standard rate of interest. The Aqua Classic card has a representative 35.9% APR variable for example, with the Aqua Advance and Aqua Reward cards having a representative 34.9% APR variable.

With Aqua credit cards having such high interest rates, it is unlikely that many customers will look to make a balance transfer to an Aqua card.

Aqua Card Balance Transfer

How do you make an Aqua card balance transfer to another credit card?

Due to the high interest rates on the Aqua credit card, many customers will look to make a balance transfer from Aqua to another balance transfer card, in order to save money.

Transferring an outstanding balance from a credit card charging 35.9% APR to a credit card with a 0% introductory rate on balance transfers does give the customer an opportunity to save money.

Balance Transfer From Aqua?

Many of the current UK balance transfer credit cards will accept an Aqua card balance transfer, ie a balance transfer from Aqua to the new credit card.

However to be accepted for any new 0% balance transfer credit card a customer will need to have an improved credit rating, compared to when they first applied for an Aqua card.

Aqua credit card customers are much more likely to be accepted for a new 0% balance transfer credit card if they can meet all of the following criteria:-

  • You have had an Aqua credit card for at least 12 months or more
  • You have made the minimum payment, or more, on time every month
  • You have no recent late payments on any other bills, cards or loans
  • You have no recent County Court Judgement’s
  • You have a low level of other debt in relation to your overall annual income

If you are looking to make Aqua balance transfers to another card, and meet all of the above criteria, then the following featured balance transfer cards are most likely to be suitable for a balance transfer from Aqua:-
