Many other UK credit cards will charge an additional 2.75% fee on purchases made outwith the UK. A £1000 hotel bill would result in a foreign transaction fee of £27.50 for example, giving a total bill of £1027.50.

With either of the Nationwide balance transfer credit cards and their unlimited commission-free offer, there would be no additional fee. As a result the total bill would remain at £1000, saving the customer some £27.50.

Nationwide Credit Card Application

The Nationwide balance transfer credit cards, are Visa branded cards. Both of the Nationwide credit cards can be used online and in restaurants, shops, hotels and petrol stations worldwide.

Nationwide balance transfer credit cards are among the few credit card companies that are well suited to a balance transfer from an American Express credit card.

Many other credit card companies are unable to process the AMEX 15 digit card number. However, Nationwide do accept AMEX balance transfers online.
